July 2026 - Finish the book and post your reviews by August 1st, 2026
I am very interested to see how this goes - I will finish it before August 1st and we can have our first Book Club meeting online in this chat that day - I know I am a little late to the table with this choice but since I am the only one here at the moment and I want to read it then *sticks tongue out* lol. I am hoping to expand book club to online Zoom or Google Meet sessions Live but for now leave your comments and reviews in the chat here under this thread. Happy Reading! Also come with your suggestions for our August Book Club pick on August 1st so we can get started on next month's reading with more time to finish the book.

Well I began this book and realized quickly that though the subject matter is serious that the writing is terrible. I feel like I should buy the author a thesaurus because, while I don't promote using long words for their own sake, it is apparent that she could have used one. The writing was so basic that I found myself longing for the movie version while I read the rooftop scene and we all know how bad that was. I honestly couldn't finish the first chapter and I apologize now for my terrible choice of book series for our inaugural Book Club title.
